Description
The sergeant major or píntano (Abudefduf saxatilis) is a species of damselfish. Here is a new terrific macro capture of the fish in the Red Sea. It takes about 10 shots to get the one you want, as the current and waves throw you around a lot. Freediving.
This fish is one of many in my first children's picture book THE ADVENTURES OF THE PICASSOFISH. You can find the book on Amazon US, UK, CA and many more. And also on Barnes & Noble. Link to Amazon US page: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/9529447027

What a beautiful photograph! I love diving, and I enjoy all your underwater photos. The lighting is very nice on this one too - light against dark and dark against light, so the edges are all beautifully defined.
