The fish grows up to 30 cm long. Its body has a stock appearance, oval shape and is compressed laterally. The head is large and is about one third of the body length.
The body is dark green with orange lines. The male loses the lines on his snout as he matures.
If you thought macro photography and animal photography is tough on land... try it underwater! :) It is hard... but rewarding, when you see photographs that turned out well, and you can offer the photos as wall art and home decor, for people to enjoy the underwater world.
